All
Halfen concealed lintel system components are manufactured
from ASTM A23 carbon stree, then hot dip galvanized
to ASTM A123 or ASTM A153.

Alternatively,
Halfen concealed lintel system components can be manufactured
from annealed typ 304 stainless steel to ASTM A666.
|
|
Spines
are fabricated from 1/4" (6mm), 5/16" (8mm)
or 3/8" (9mm) thick material, and include the
necessary bearing plates. Depth is determined by load
and span.

|
Horseshoe
plates are made from 3/16" (5mm) thick plate with
notch to fit over spine. Slotted holes are provided
to accomodate stitching rods.

Stitching
rods are from 3/16" (5mm) diameter bar.
|
|
Note:
Concealed lintels can only be constructed from bricks
with cored holes, or hollow block.
