ANKERCAD is an AUTOCAD drawing utility that inserts Halfen Anchoring Systems 2-D drawings, using a pull down menu (ANKERCAD - AUTOCAD v13 or higher) or a side, pull down menu and icon menu (ANKERCAD - AUTOCAD v11 and 12). The menu contains all 11 of Halfen's Anchor Channel profiles. A bolt menu is available for AUTOCAD v13 or higher. Selecting any of the anchor channel profiles, a sub-menu produces menus dedicated strictly to the profile selected. Each profile sub-menu consists of 7-9 anchor channel elevations, 2 profiles and 1 isometric. Selecting the Bolt Menu produces a sub-menu containing all of the anchor channel series. In each anchor channel sub-menu, the bolt sub-menu will appear, allowing the selection of the desired bolt.

ANKERCALC is a computer program suitable for selecting appropriate Halfen Anchor Channels used to anchor curtain wall systems to the edge of concrete floor slabs. The program is based on Halfen's Anchors for Glazing catalog. From the catalog, the program uses page 5 for channel selection and page 11 for fastener selection. The program also uses the drawings and information of Curtain Wall Edge of Slab Anchor Questionaire provided on the previous page. (ANKERCALC was made in Visual Basic 4.0 and will run on Windows 95 or greater.)
