Halfen anchor channels are manufactured from channel profiles with 1-anchors shop-welded to the back of the channels.

They are available in ready-to-use short lengths and continuous lengths up to 20' - 0" (6.1m).  Custom lengths can also be manufactured to suit customer requirements.

Halfen anchor channels are available in hot dip galvanized carbon steel and are foam filled.  Stainless steel anchor channels are also available.
REINFORCEMENT
Halfen anchor channels have been tested in unreinforced concrete and no additional reinforcing is normally needed to carry the published loads. However, the loads resisted by the anchor channels have to be transferred into the surrounding concrete and the engineer must ensure proper design of the complete system.

SAFETY FACTOR
The loads shown in the catalog are working loads and include a safety factor of at least 3, applied to the ultimate strength of the anchor channel or surrounding concrete.

CONCRETE STRENGTH
The load capacities of anchor channels shown are based on their performance in 3,000 psi (20.7 MPa) normal weight concrete. Some loads (marked *) are controlled by concrete strength and can be increased for  higher strength normal weight concrete, up to a maximum of 5,000 psi (34.5 MPa) by applying a factor of:
For light weight concrete strengths up to a maximum of 6,000 psi (41.4 MPa), apply a factor of:

MANUFACTURING TOLERANCES
The dimensions shown are nominal. Tolerances of ± 1/8" (3mm) apply to lengths up to 12" (305mm) and ± 1/4" (6mm) on longer lengths.
